Cover Reveal: Summer Feels: A #romanceclass Anthology

One thing you should know about me is I have distinct workaholic tendencies. Case in point, my decision to try my hand at compiling and editing my first ever anthology at the same time as I’m working to set up three new businesses and move back to my hometown after 10 years away. There have been (and I’m sure still will be) moments when I’ve wanted to tear my hair out or laugh like a maniac or cry like I just watched the opening montage of Up again. And yet today I get to unveil the cover for SUMMER FEELS, the second #romanceclass anthology, the first to feature all-new writers who’ve never before been published on Amazon or in print.

Keep reading for the cover and deets about the book and oh-so-awesome designer!

About the Cover

I really wanted an illustrated cover to amp up the authentic Filipino feel of the anthology at a potential reader’s first glance, and I wanted something unifying with the Make Your Wish Come True #romanceclass Christmas anthology, so of course I had to go with the same designer who tackled that project just a few months back! We had a few small revisions (visually small, anyway; although I don’t know enough about art to say how hard they were to do), but right from the very start I was captivated by the notion of a woman looking out at an expanse of blue as the title “Summer Feels” appeared to be written in the sky. A sunny yellow hat and morena (brown-skinned) looks, even without a face being featured, just completed the picture for me. The only thing that would’ve made me squeal harder over this cover is a set of bared abs.

About the Stories

The stories below are listed in the order in which they’ll appear in the anthology. These are grouped by heat level, beginning with heat levels 0 and 1, moving up to level 2, and ending with “full frontal” level 3! It includes authors I’ve worked with before as an editor or co-contributor as well as authors who are completely new to me, some of whom were a total revelation. Two stories involve LGBT relationships, and all of them feature abs you’d like to run your fingers over, strong arms to hold you tight all through the night, and sweet summer heat to fire the blood and light up the heart. You’ll get lots of kisses and caresses, adorably awkward moments, faith-restoring acts of forgiveness, hugot-filled scenes of heartbreak, sexytime to leave you sweating, and so much more. I hope you’ll give it a read. With one exception, none of the stories listed have previously been published.

About Author

Kate Sebastian

Kate Sebastian has been crafting stories since she was tiny. She spent her childhood reimagining classic fairy tales and inventing new ones, then having her dolls and stuffed toys reenact them in elaborate sets she built by rearranging the furniture in her house. She earns a good living writing articles and editing manuscripts, but decided to try her hand at writing romance (the steamy kind) since she reads so much of it.

A simple ‘thank you’ wouldn’t suffice how grateful I am for this project you spearheaded, Ms. Liana :) You’re a fairy godmother who just made our wish come true :) And on top of the business you’re opening up too! Such an admirable superwoman :) I could only wish you more success in all your endeavors. Looking forward to doing more projects with you :) A million thanks again and again :)

Aww, thanks for the sweet message! And I’m hoping this will kickstart new authors’ motivations to publish novels/novellas of theirs ASAP, as well as allow veteran authors to find new readers. 😀

I made a lot of rookie mistake while we were working on this project and I really learned so much from it. I’m so grateful to you Ms. Liana for giving us new writers an opportunity to share our stories along with you and the other amazing #romanceclass authors. I hope someday we can work together again on another project. :)

I’m looking forward to reading our anthology.

The important thing about mistakes is never forgetting to learn from them! :) I’m sure there will be other anthologies soon—they seem to be on trend as far as #romanceclass is concerned! Hehe.
